Solari Storage was founded in January 2026 by Mady Jacobs and Stephen Waltrip, both of whom came up through the California solar industry. The company is based in Southern California and works with install partners in Sacramento, Bakersfield, Fresno, Anaheim and San Diego, covering the whole state. Stephen has been in solar and storage since 2019, and came up through traditional solar sales. Mady came up through operations and completed Porsche Consulting’s Operational Excellence program. Solari Storage began focusing exclusively on battery storage in November 2025.
Knowing your utility, your rate plan and your city’s permitting office is most of the job. A company operating in twelve states knows none of those things particularly well.
California is where our experience is, and it is where the rules are strangest. Export credits collapsed under NEM 3.0, evening peak rates are the highest in the continental United States, and rebate budgets open and close without much notice. Keeping that straight for one state is a full-time job. We would rather be genuinely good here than adequate across several.

His approach prioritizes long-term value, true-up savings and grid resilience over selling more panels.

California, and nowhere else. Every rate structure, incentive and interconnection rule we work with belongs to this state. Knowing your utility, your rate plan and your city's permitting office is most of the job, and a company operating in twelve states knows none of those things particularly well.
No. We specify your system, secure the incentives and rebates you qualify for, and manage the project from the first call to the day it comes online. A licensed contractor carries out the installation. We handle the schedule, the permits and the utility interconnection so you are not coordinating it yourself.
We start with the battery that completes the system you already have. We only recommend adding more solar if your usage and goals truly require it. Most homeowners do not need more panels. They need storage. That focus keeps the project simpler, faster and more cost-effective, while still delivering the backup and bill savings people actually want.
Four platforms: Tesla Powerwall 3, Lunar Energy, FranklinWH aPower and the SolarEdge Home Battery. The right one depends on your existing solar equipment, your household loads, your backup priorities and the incentives available where you live.
Most of our customers do. Adding a battery is the missing piece. Without storage, your excess production goes to the grid for reduced credits under California's current billing rules. With a battery, that energy stays on your property and you use it in the evening when power costs the most.
A recent utility bill. That tells us your real usage and rate plan, which is everything we need to work out whether storage makes sense for your home. If it does not, we say so.
Every utility in California offers different incentives and rebates. We stay current on all of them and use the strongest programs available for your specific utility to reduce the net cost of your system. We file the paperwork on your behalf.
Us. We stay on the project through permitting, installation and interconnection, and we follow up on any incentive or rebate application we filed for you. You are not handed to a call center after signing.
Not currently for the general market. SGIP is California's state battery storage rebate and the budgets ran out at the end of 2025. Historically it has been refunded every couple of years. We have filed SGIP applications for homeowners before and we will again if it returns. In the meantime we work with what is actually open.
